ORLANDO AND WALT DISNEY WORLD

Disney world parks lie about 35 minutes to the north and are best reached via the I4. The Airport is about another fiver minutes further on. A shuttle bus to Disney can be arranged at cost from the resort but I would recommend having the freedom of a hire car.

Orlando is packed with entertainment with the main attraction being the Disney parks, Universal Studios, Sea World, and Islands of Adventure. The entertainment in Orlando is huge and is only a short drive away. The best part about it all is when the day is done you can come back to Lake Marion and chill out away from the hustle and bustle of Orlando.

SHOPPING AND RESTAURANTS

There is a Super Wal-Mart and other shops and restaurants less than ten minutes drive from the resort. The shopping malls of Orlando are an absolute must especially for Brits as training shoes are a fraction of the price in the UK!
